AI Catalyst for SMEs
AI Catalyst for SMEs brings research know-how into practice, showing AI opportunities, matching AI solutions to specific problems and identifying key factors for successful implementation. It also considers potential applications from an ethical perspective.
Identifying and analysing good examples encourages learning and reflection in companies. An online platform, available after the project ends, shares knowledge, good practice and project outputs such as the AI Readiness Radar, which lets companies assess their own readiness for AI.
Cross-border activities inform and train companies about AI benefits and applications. They include joint development of the AI Readiness Radar, an AI for Managers training module, development and review of good practice, AI SDT Labs, an online platform and AI Days.
Recommendations for policymakers in Austria and the Czech Republic will help ensure future AI strategies reflect project knowledge, experience and tools and are discussed at policy level.
The project takes an innovative, participatory approach. Companies from all programme regions actively develop and test outputs. Alongside companies, particularly SMEs, it addresses regional authorities, policymakers, researchers, society and business support organisations.
