AI use in the partner border regions is significantly lower than elsewhere, partly because of a shortage of skilled workers. AI technology transfer from research institutions to SMEs is insufficient, and awareness of current AI opportunities and benefits is generally lower.

Project objective
The project transfers knowledge about AI use from research to SMEs, primarily through workshops. AI can automate and optimise processes from production and quality control to logistics and customer service, reducing costs and increasing competitiveness.
The partners provide complementary expertise: VŠTE in AI and process analysis, THD in AI and technology scaling, and JVTP in working with SMEs. Specialist workshops are primarily for SMEs but are also open to the public and research institutions. A gallery of good practice and practical AI demonstrations in demonstration centres support the workshops.
