CROSSBORDER STARTUP POINT

A shared system of cross-border tools and support networks for innovative start-ups in South Bohemia and Upper Austria.

The project creates a shared system of cross-border tools and networks supporting start-ups: new businesses with rapid growth potential, high added value and products attractive to foreign markets.

A network of STARTUP POINTS connects innovative business support systems in South Bohemia and Upper Austria, jointly identifying business ideas and guiding them to include innovation and cross-border cooperation in their business plans from the outset.

This comprehensive cross-border system supports the emergence and sustainable development of innovative business ideas and start-ups. It aims to:

  • Give young entrepreneurs access to a wide range of tools and services to refine and develop their ideas.
  • Identify and support founders, new entrepreneurs and innovative ideas, particularly promising student projects.
  • Promote the target group and support entry into new cross-border and international markets through an expansion support network.
  • Support high-value ideas with rapid growth potential.
  • Provide support at all project stages: early stage, seed, growth and start-up.
  • Combine grants with mentors, specialists and trainers, reflecting regional and cross-border support, sector expertise and local R&D specialisations.
  • Develop cross-border networks of educational and research organisations, companies, institutions, non-profits and experts.
  • Use knowledge, information and support from people committed to their region.
  • Provide access to a like-minded business and social community.
  • Share specialist services, joint marketing and related activities.
