Cultural and Creative Industries Development Strategy for South Bohemia 2025–2035

Mapping cultural and creative industries and creating a strategic framework for their development and support in South Bohemia.

The project creates a strategic document for developing and supporting cultural and creative industries (CCIs), including quantitative and qualitative mapping across South Bohemia.

Data on the CCI environment and current conditions form the analytical basis for a strategic framework for further development and support. The South Bohemian Region will use these analyses to develop activities such as networking businesses, developing regional infrastructure and supporting specific CCIs.

The specific objective is to map and collect CCI data using the Ministry of Culture's Methodology for Mapping Cultural and Creative Industries at Local and Regional Level in the Czech Republic for Call 0232/2022 on strategic documents for CCI development and support.

Two objectives

  • Create a CCI data base for South Bohemia.
  • Create a strategic document for CCI development and support in the region.

CCIs will be divided according to the certified methodology's statistical definitions: a three-sector classification of the cultural and creative sector, or cultural areas under the Culture Satellite Account. Individual activities will also be assigned to cultural areas using CZ-NACE classifications as specified in the methodology.
