South Bohemian Digi Hub
The South Bohemian Digi Hub supports the gradual digital transformation of regional companies and the development of digital skills in schools at every level, as well as further and lifelong learning.
JVTP, together with Technologické centrum Písek s.r.o., was selected under the European Commission's “Smart Factories in new EU Member States” initiative as a suitable organisation to establish a digital innovation hub.
A digital hub is a network of cooperating organisations able to provide services for introducing digitalisation across society. South Bohemia already has various individual activities supporting digitalisation, but they are not mutually coordinated. The hub maps, connects and coordinates these activities and promotes awareness of the hub concept and the need for digitalisation.
Specific activities
- Building a collaborative regional service-provider network offering relatively comprehensive digital transformation services for processes, products and services.
- Advice, consultations and practical demonstrations of IoT, VR/XR/AR, AI, RPA and other digital technologies, including financing options.
- Digital transformation support tools, particularly for regional SMEs.
- A digitalisation community and education through workshops, round tables and seminars.
- Awareness and marketing.
